Pool session descriptions

Aquatic centre hours

Guests will be allowed into the aquatic centre during the scheduled session times. Space is available on a first-come-first-serve basis and occupancy limits are based on a lifeguard to guest ratio. Changerooms, showers, and our new toonie lockers are now open. Guests are welcome to bring pool toys and equipment from home.

Public swim

If you’re looking for something fun for the whole family, this is the swim for you! All guests are welcome during this time. Pool toys are available upon request, or you can bring your own. We can’t wait to see you.

Parent and Tot swim

Bring your little ones (infants and preschoolers) for family play time.

Lane swim

Designated lanes available in our competition pool and specifically reserved for lane swimming. Lanes are reserved for lane swimmers and include a variety of lane speeds.

Swimming lessons

Swim for Life® by the Lifesaving Society

The Swim for Life® program is the Lifesaving Society’s learn-to-swim program that develops solid swimming strokes and skills.

Infants and toddlers 4 months to 3 years register into: Parent & Tot levels 1, 2, or 3 based on the child’s age at the time of the course.

Children 3 – 5 years register into: Preschool levels 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 based on the child’s swimming ability and previous swimming level.

Youth 5 – 15 years register into: Swimmer levels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 based on the child’s swimming ability and previous swimming level.

16 + years register into: Adult 1
